GUATEMALA ANTIGUA

This coffee is a "strictly hard bean" (SHB). This means that these beans are grown in altitudes of 4,500 ft or higher which makes for better consistency and a more desirable coffee. Antiqua coffee gives a rich cup that has a distinct smoky flavour. The finest Guatemalan coffees are medium to full in body and rich in flavour with a hint of spice. Although this coffee is acidic, the spiciness and smokiness put a nice twist on these acidic tones.
